The Museum Is Not Enough no. 10–14

Book Launch and Conversations around Curating, Publishing, and Filming

Canadian Centre for Architecture
May 7, 6–8pm

Join the CCA on Wednesday 7 May at Ca’Buccari at 6pm for conversations over drinks as they launch the second volume of The Museum Is Not Enough and present their latest film, To Build Law as part of the Biennale program, in collaboration with bplus.xyz, station.plus, and HouseEurope!.

In 2019, the CCA published a series of collective reflections on architecture, cultural institutions, and the public. They called it The Museum Is Not Enough. That first volume (No. 1–9), co-published with Sternberg Press, built on thematic investigations the CCA had undertaken in recent years. The second volume (No. 10–14), co-published by CCA and Lenz, extends these lines of thinking while reflecting an urge to step beyond the limits of the institution and experience things on the ground.

The Museum Is Not Enough no. 10–14, is edited by Giovanna Borasi, Albert Ferré, Francesco Garutti, and Jayne Kelley, with contributions from Lev Bratishenko, Sandrine Colard, Claudio Gulli, Corinna Gardner, Oulimata Gueye, Silvia Gutiérrez De la Torre, Jarrod Ray Hore, Hester Keijser, Renato Leotta, Andrea Lissoni, Ari Marcopoulos, Valeria Meiller, Gili Merin, Marina Oba, Mariana Pestana, Paul R. Spitzzeri, David Stevenson, Ivy Thompson, Jennifer B. Thompson, Philip Tidwell, Hannah Turner, and Akram Zaatari, and graphic design by Studio Jonathan Hares.
